Welcome to Paradise Palms and beautiful Amelia Island! We are Michael and Sarah Harris.
We got married in October of 2010, and have been visiting Amelia Island together since about 2015. Since then, we have been traveling from our home just outside of Atlanta at least once a year to visit this magical place.
It’s been a dream of ours to someday own a place on the Island. While 2020 was a challenging year in so many ways, we were blessed to be able to purchase our own little slice of Amelia Paradise in October - just in time to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.
We love the laid-back, simple vibe on Amelia Island. It’s not too commercial, but there’s so much to do - from exploring State Parks, nearby Cumberland Island and water activities to discovering delicious restaurants and delightful shops.
When we came to visit, we almost always stayed closer to the southern end of the island. The beaches are a little quieter down here and I love the drive down Amelia Island Parkway’s tunnel of live oaks, dripping with Spanish Moss!
We fell in love with Paradise Palms the moment we saw it - and are thrilled to be able to offer our guests access to all the fabulous amenities at Amelia Surf and Racquet Club.
